This is the documentation for limepkg-transactional-message-library aka. TRAML (Transactional Message Library) TRAML enables the sending of one-to-one transactional emails and SMS. Unlike batch email marketing, TRAML is a service to be used to facilitate triggered communications to be sent to one recipient at a time. TRAML is commonly used to send confirmation emails, notifications, or updates about course payments.

With limepkg-transactional-message-library you can:

• Send transactional emails based on a template in Lime Marketing
• Send transactional emails with custom HTML and/or text content
• Send transactional SMS

Upgrading from the old transactional-message-library

This package is a new, ‘next-gen’ TRAML with differences from the old package. In order to smoothly transition to the new TRAML over time, it is safe to install and run both the old transactional-message-library and new limepkg-transactional-message-library side-by-side since they are two different packages. Just be aware that emails and SMS can be sent from both packages if they are triggered from the same event. More info about the changes here.
